Our Story
communities affected by poverty and violence. We provide a safe, nurturing space with daily meals, educational support, emotional care, and enriching activities like gardening, literacy, and animal therapy. Our goal is to help every child grow, thrive, and build a brighter future.

In recent years, both Mothers Unite and the Seawinds community have been affected by the long-lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which continues to impact children’s development and family stability. Additionally, severe rust damage has rendered several of our shipping container classrooms—including the library and computer lab—unsafe and unusable, putting critical learning spaces out of commission and halting those programs.

Despite the challenges, our commitment remains unwavering. With support, we can restore safe spaces and continue empowering the next generation.
